Trending @Infosys; Salary way less than what expected

Hey I'm new to infosys joined april, I was supposed to be getting 95k and 9.5k is variable and so 85k if we exclude pf then 80k should be my in hand salary

BUT

I only got 72k in hand

Actual Deduction is 6.5k and salary is 78.5k so I only got 72k. Does anyone know if this is because of probation period or did I genuinely missed something from offer letter?

CTC includes all. It's not fixed pay. It's a corporate hack

Apart from PF and gratuity which is shown in breakup, There is one more PF and gratuity cut from your pocket. That’s why you are seeing less.

Breakup wala PF and gratuity is cost to company. That’s why

Yup this is my 1st switch and my previous org didn't have this as part of their CTC so just figured it out. Will take it as a learning for my next switch

I think when we switch again, we can add this up to CTC and should be in a position to convince HR

They will be deducting the PF also, Employer and Employee share from your salary, that is the difference

Salary Breakdown-

Monthly Gross Salary: ₹78,500 In-Hand Salary: ₹72,000 Deductions (approx. ₹6,500): Includes Employee PF,Professional Tax,Welfare Trust

Now, Employer PF Contribution: ₹5,000 (approx.) Gratuity: ₹2,000 Variable Pay: ₹9,500 Total CTC = ₹78,500 + ₹5,000 + ₹2,000 + ₹9,500 = ₹95,000

Pf is 12% employer side and 12% employee side so total 24% of basic salary

PF is 5170 this I checked in Payslip so no confused on that but my question is about the 'Earning' side of the payslip where instead of 85,000(which is my fixed as per the portal and OL) I only got 78,500
