If you have a baby less than 1 year then TCS has a policy to work from home. Check the policy and send an email to HR and get approval for exception. You need to submit the date of birth certificate of your child.

Is this applicable only for mothers or fathers as well?

I think it is applicable to both.

Read the policy first properly and post it to HR and get it approved trought official channel than writing here. TCS is not as bad as we guys comment here. Just because some xyz boy had an issue dosent meant every men or women will have an issue. People prefer to not work but take salary. If thats the case try the same in a hotel. I.e have a cup of tea and go out without paying, if the hotel guy is ok then declare TCS is bad simple

That’s not true, I don’t say every HR is stubborn but 95% of the management is like that. Even though you show them the policy, they still say that is not applicable for whatsoever request. They do what they want to do otherwise they just threaten saying that ‘I will reduce the band’ or ‘I will not give experience letter’ or whatever. People who post here, already writes mails to management and when they don’t get any help then they post here to get help from others who went through the same situation. And people work very hard even though their salaries are very less compared to the market, it’s Tcs who wants employees to work as slaves. They give a spoon full of tea (salary) and asks to pay for cup full of tea (work). May be you are in manager position that’s why you don’t know the problems associates face

Ok atleast you made me manger thanks for this😀. If thats the case then there way to get this resolved. Talk to their supervisor and if not working then his/her boss.

I have seen people in bench for 274 days 283 days 432 days . And when we try to call them they are not available over call also and not on teams also.

When i got list of employees whose profile is on python. 100% of the sheet i got profiles like this.

Some need machine learning AI peojects. But on bench for 283 days. Another guy need python development but he is in bench for 274 days. Atleast get into work first then in parallel plan to move by showing your capabilities.

And i can say “may be u were one of those guys/girl in excel sheet who remained on bench for 200 + days” but dont worry i dont judge people just like that.

No it's not 2 months. There is policy in place under HR hub where it is mentioned that if your child is below 1 year then you can avail wfh. Until when that needs to be confirmed but you can avail for it. Just download that policy and attach in email.

The policy is child care policy. Get approval and then apply 2Office Exception.
