Salary of a startup engineer after pre seed round
What should be the salary of the first (and only) engineer of the startup who made the product 0 to 1 from scratch (fe,be, infra,devops,testing, everything), after the startup finally gets funding?
Especially in India. Can you please also provide any stats for this? Really want to know market value of such an engineer so that I don't feel underpaid.

How much was the raise? Highly depends on your YoE, the raise amount etc.
TBH - I would place it at 15 LPA for someone with at least 1-2 YoE ~25LPA if it's a seed/series A
Did not get funding yet. But founder is sure of raising. I just wanted to know how much I can ask. I am 1-2 yoe, but am basically the only dev in the team with an intern to help me out. Like I know the entire frontend and backend, in and out. Except the figma design, literally everything was done by me.
So I wanted to know my market value in this case. And it's a bootstrapped startup so it's gonna be a pre seed round.
I see Bangalore devs 22-23 years old earning 20-24 lpa. Isn't value of startup engineers way higher than normal salary bands?
