Trending @Infosys; Salary notification is very less
Just received the salary notification in infyme. The payslip is not yet available. The amount shown is very less compared to previous months with performance bonus, even though received a better performance bonus this time. Even after considering tax deductions, it's not correct. Anyone else facing this issue?
I have checked the payslip. A large amount of tax has been deducted compared to previous months as we approach the end of FY. Less amount of TDS is deducted in the initial months as the performance bonus is not considered in the projected annual income. However, It would have been better if it was deducted equally each month instead of bulk deduction in a month.
Deduction of tax calculation is based on fixed salary. I believe, performance bonus is not known initially as it depends on several market factors. Unless Infy has a clause that certain percentage of performance bonus is guaranteed than PB amount can be projected and considered for tax from initial days. As per Infy PB is by default 0.

they cut double tax amount when salary comes with PB
