I recently received an offer with a reasonable hike, but due to my work-from-home situation and family needs, I’m unable to relocate. I’m planning to discuss adjusting my current package with my manager. Should I resign first and then discuss it, or have the discussion before taking any action? Also, if I submit my resignation and later revoke it, is there a freeze period before I can apply for separation again?
