Ask for what you expect, you don't need to elaborate on the "why" part. That's none of their concern.

You're in a Saturated market. You will get paid the least amount, if they can get anyone with lower expectations they will get them instead of you. So get trained in a better technology stack, so even the lowest is still above your expectations.
