Salary negotiations

Hi folks,

I’m currently evaluating an offer from Samsung R&D for an Android Developer role. Experience: 6.5 years CTC offered: 29.5 LPA (27.6 LPA fixed)

I wanted to understand whether this compensation is at par with current industry standards for my experience level, especially for product-based companies.

If not, what would be a reasonable counter-offer range I should consider asking for?

Would really appreciate inputs from people in similar roles or those familiar with Samsung’s compensation bands. Thanks!
