Salary negotiation
My joining in TCS is in 18th May, I have recently received another offer of 14 LPA and TCS giving me 9.9 LPA for 4 years exp. Is it a good idea to counter TCS now as my Date of joining is 15 days away.
Obviously ask them if they can match the offer. if TCS matches then good else if company offering 14 lpa is good, go for it
You still have 15 days, go for more offers, or if you are satisfied then enjoy your remaining days.
Go for better offer, what I noticed is selection process is fairly liberal and out of 4 ppl recruited only 1 has knowledge to work in real world so we are waiting for ppl with little knowledge and responsibility to dump all the work on them . This is how my team is working really feeling very bad on eps joining . Even though you take this you run away in a year. Better take other offer and reject this altogether. There are mass layoffs on bench so no concept of Job security either if you are thinking about that.
Don't join TCS, you would get down skilled and get paid less as well!
Grab the best offer. You have 15 more days. Once you get into a company you will be getting your hike only after 1 year(best case) and it will be only approximately 5 percent. So keep trying for higher offers. Note: TCS yearly hikes are too bad, you may endup not getting any hike even after 2 years after joining
Run 🏃 🏃♂️ with 9.9 package you need to wait for 2 years even for your first appraisal to happen and even then you won’t reach 14LPA in TCS. Take the other one
In TCS it will take 10 years to react at 14lpa from 9.9lpa. So decide accordingly. Consider the variable pay component as well. TCS is paying very low variable pay in recent times
Go with ither offer tcs is hell and no hikea going to happen this year and even every yeqt it dont cross 7% since last 3 year its in decreasing trends only
9.9 to 14 in tcs you will get after 5 years minimum ...
Ask 14LPA bro, maybe in future this might be your CTC. Comparatively hikes are less in TCS
Would recommend to join the other organization if it's decent, This one is at all time low also even if they agree on 14 depending on band and other factors variable will be cut and forget about any hikes in upcoming years
