Salary L6 SPM Amazon India
I recently got hired for L6 Senior Product Manager - Non Tech role at Amazon India. The location is Hyderabad. Internal Tools Lead PM role.
What’s the base salary they offer? Where can I negotiate? Any tips. Coffee on me for good tips!
My current is 72 (65+7). And have an offer of 70+5.

This is same as what I earn at L5 in an engineering role here. So I'd say it's pretty good. Assuming 40L you mentioned is yearly stock and not to be divided by 4.
No no. 40L is total bro. Are you sure Amazon India L6 SPM get 40L yearly? But the vesting schedule is 5-15-40-40.
I was talking about G. Not amazon, at G, yes they earn 40L a year. But that's L5 which us equal to L6 amazon. 40 L over 4 years and no front loading is low ball
If you've cleared their 5 round interview and gotten a go-ahead from their side, it means they want you, and you have negotiating leverage with HR. Since your offer is actually kinda par, start with 20% more (overall) and settle for 10% more (at the very least)
Yaar they are giving me even lower. Base - 57, RSU total - 40, and Sign on 14.5L. Forget 20%, they are not giving 10% more on my current base.
Are you saying pitching for 72L base?
