Salary just isn't enough - what next?
I've made 20k, I've made 1.5 lakhs and I've also made 70k, and even ~2 lakhs/per month.
It's clear to me now. Salary isn't enough at all.
You lived in the same deadbeat, cheap city with your 20k, you're still in the same shithole with 1.5 lakhs. All you have is some pocket change within your bank account, for a while.
Any politician or prince with baap ka paisa can show you your place within minutes, should they want. Heck, even the system works against you, from courts to police stations to govt departments, all are sitting and waiting to bribe money out of you.
Ex: wife of my tenant just left him, and ran away for a while. Like any citizen, he goes to the police to get a missing person complaint registered. And what does the local constable do? Starts abusing, humiliating him how he can't even "manage" his wife. To top it off, he then asks for a bribe, to help him find his wife. Something that he should be doing anyway, without asking for bribe.
Sent a bit off trajectory, but you get my point.
That's the value of life of a salaried man here. Aka nothing.
So my question: how to go to the next level from here? Anybody who's ever felt similar. How did you tackle it?

The next level is to get filthy rich or politically connected
That's when you start to get special treatment

Yep, setting up a successful bizz is our way out.
But even then, these babus will not let us live in peace. You see how they run these "raids" from time to time on successful entrepreneurs? It's all hafta collecting.
So it makes me wonder if even entrepreneurs are safe here. It's all about managing some babu, being their lil b*tch, so he doesn't come after you.
This whole enviornment sucks!

Nah, getting justice should be bare minimum. You shouldn't have to be filthy rich to get justice. The wrong is out there, not inside

India is a big shit hole. Most of the people are corrupt and have no real empathy for fellow citizens. We are made to kill each other for basic resources yet our politicians are filthy rich. Neta ka bodyguard bhi Google ke engineer se jyada attitude aur power rakhta hai yahan.

So are you saying it's better to be a neta? It's a high risk life!
