You can try appearing for Wings Exam according to your grade

Make sure u have dependency in project and good rapport with customer.
Attend interviews, get a offer letter.
Resign... Ask customer to request for your retention.
Tcs will agree if there is good amount of customer pressure..
At the time of retention discussion with HR, stick to your demands.... Dnt fall for things like( half will increase now and half in appraisal band next year)
Make it clear in writing that this pay rise will not have impact on the coming appraisal cycles.
