
Salary hike within FY
Is there any way to get salary hike or pre-promotion in TCS, considering the good terms with manager and best work outputs. Please let me know the ways so that i can get salary increased. YOE-3

There is no shortcut to success. Also in TCS the route to success is also very long and has lots of hurdles to test your patience and skills to sail through them.
At YOE-3 you can only be at best listening to what your manager says and maintain the bond. But don't expect any good thing because he is not having any power or authority to do anything. Even if he has to give a night shift allowance he will have to get the highest approval because cost and margin is everything to the management. To increase salary in the range of >25% try to switch and get the hike. If it is anything less than 25% you can wait for one more year. After YOE-4 don't expect any good to happen until you reach YOE-8 at the minimum. Also not to mention these 2 milestones are also not predefined to give you promotion rather they are bigger hurdles to test your patience and many conditions apply like how many PPL are waiting int he queue with higher experience before you, whether you got continuous A or B band( one C band can increase your eligibility to +3 years, whether you are completing ContextuL master or technical certifications or keeping abreast of latest tech stack (irrespective of what you work on your daily routine), etc
