If you are already on notice period and have some offer in hand ,please wait for last 30days you can easily get 70% or more than that, until and unless you have any personal commitments there is no use of getting retained, let say you get 30% ,most of that amount will be variable that you will never get,I am also on notice period and getting such response from management ,they will try to lure you with such things but all these things are far from reality.

40% is the maximum we can get i have heard at infy It all depends on the budget the project has

I recently resigned from Infosys, the maximum retention budget that they would offer is 30% Exceptional approval gets 35% despite you hold an offer as close to 100%

So obviously i chose later, the worse part i was told that 30% would go for a cut of % in case if you had any hike within a year. No sane would choose to get retained unless some On-site opportunity is promised to be offered as a better leverage

In IOT ENG unit there is no retention. So it is actually depends on unit wise

One tech lead got a 60% retention hike , it totally depends how much dependency in the team.

As my unit head said that they can offer 30% per retention per this year because there is Cap limitation. May be in next year starting he can manage some more percentage. That is why i had a doubt, is this for same for all units or any restrictions.
