I have been working as a contract employee at Wipro Mumbai for the past year as an Application Support Engineer. Thankfully, my manager has now pushed my name for a permanent position.

Since I have 1 year of experience, I wanted to understand what percentage hike I should ask for based on current market standards. Additionally, what key points should I keep in mind while discussing this with HR? Any insights on salary negotiation, benefits, or things to watch out for would be really helpful.
