Salary hike
My current salary is x. In Jan it will be x+10%. I'm planning to switch jobs. My new company will ask me for last three months salary slip. Nov and Dec salary slip will show x, while Jan salary slip will show x+10%. I'm considering to wait for three months and show x+10% as last three months salary.
My qn: If I go ahead with the first plan, will I get a lesser hike in the new company?

Many people do this - leave their companies just after a month of their hikes. The other companies usually only ask for a month's pay stub. But even if they ask for 3 months previous pay stub you can send it to them and tell them you're asking your expected CTC based on the hike that you have received 1 month back. Nothing wrong in that
