Salary for VP engineering position

What's the salary you can expect if you are someone with 12+ YOE with cloud, full stack working as a VP of engineering in startup/enterprise?

Both comments above are wrong -

  1. non inflated vp (basically cto -1) role can go up to 2-2.5 cr cash as well in the right companies
  2. 12 yoe for VP is doable but hard for high cred candidates. So someone from iitb + google for 10 yoe can get vp (easily director) at startups

12 years for an VP is a joke, if they are offering VP then Ill doubt the credibility of that company

I have seen much worse, several startups have HOT who has < 7YOE.

I don’t see issue in someone strong background to be a VP engineering for 12YOE.

80L to 1cr as per what i have seen around could be on a higher side based on the type of company
