Salary check
What should be good salary according to current market standards for 5 yoe in frontend development

This entirely depends on what you’ve done in those 5 years, 5 could be 1+2+2 years of different increasingly more responsible roles, or you could do repeat the same year 5 times in a row.
Better to benchmark against your “level”. I’ve seen senior level engineers at 7yoe and also “mid level” engineers at 12yoe.
To determine where you are, refer to a software engineer competency matrix

No way this is correct. 5+ you should AT LEAST be making 40+ base to be considered good imo

Should be 10-15

Few of my friends who have 7+ YOE are earning between 15-20 as well.

Depends on company too. Good product or fintech can offer 35+ granted u alrdy have around 50% less

~15 lpa

I'm loving the U curve 😁
