Salary Ask

I've started looking for a new PM job. Haven't switched ever before. Need help here.

What is the salary I should look for now? Profile:

  • 5 year experience with a unicorn startup
  • Tier 1 MBA - 1yr
  • 1.5 yrs experience with an IT MNC

Total: 6.5 yrs PM experience: 4.5 yrs

Currently, at 18+1.5L. Need genuine help.

Also, is it possible to market correct my salary in just 1 jump?

I have a question I just want to know whether the 5 Yoe was prior to MBA? If not then what made you stay in this company for so long being a tier-1 MBA myself I feel you are underpaid given your work experience. What made you stay for so long in this company without a proper hike or raise. I'm just curious, I'm starting my corporate journey so I want to know.

Yes, it was pre-MBA. Went from business to engineering to product.

I feel given your years of experience in PM you can make the jump but the market is bad right now so it would be tough to find a good role but keep trying
