Salary and switch
Hi all, my salary is 26250 in hand I turned 24 4months ago. I am really depressed with salary right now and have zero knowledge on switch. I wish to at least earn 1.5 lakh per month.
My questions:
Is it ok what I earn right now? How exactly should I switch. I have literally zero knowledge go to decieve the interviewee and falsy Or by cheat aquire high paying jobs like my friends do.
Current company ? Tech ? Yoe ?
Capgemini. IBM connect direct technical support engineer. Hands on in unix, java, sql. Yoe: will be 2 year soon
Yea just focus on upskilling for next 6 months. Nothing else. And then start applying. No need to deceive or cheat. Keep upskilling, keep switching every 2 years . Youre young, in next 5 yrs youll grow. Dont get affected by others journey.
The people whom youre seeing and getting jealous , theyre also chasing someone, this is a never ending loop.
Dont think too much just work on improving your skills and prioritise better work life and pay worth of your work
Hmm, I had same feeling in past, been there myself,, feels depressing, like what is that my colleagues are doing that I miss, how come someone with low potential can earn more..bla bla bla..
All these things will go away once you start earning more ..
What should be your course of action...
First try to become the best in whatever you are doing, once you gain expertise, rest of the things will fall in place.
I applied for 2.6k jobs on Naukri, I am not even making this up literally 2.6k, I used to wakeup and start applying to jobs, whenever I used to unlock phone, I used to apply for job.
I barely got 10 calls, out of which 2-3 gave me interview chance and all rejected me for my notice period..
I lied about NP and I got selected in TCL, they released offer but later offer was revoked as they got to know about the 90 days notice period.
I gave up and stopped applying and after 2-3 months out of nowhere I got call for an interview, and got selected..

Long story short: Wait for your time, God has written something for everyone, you will get it once your time comes, till then just keep trying hard.
And most importantly: Always clap for your friends success, clap from your heart, when its your time, someone will clap for you!
Keep going, Time changes bro, nothing is permanent, keep doing things right, even if nothing is falling in place!
1 thing I will suggest bro... With experience i am saying.... Don't stress on salary just focus on gaining knowledge & skills as much as you can... Invest on yourself for few years on learning & developing skills.... & Than you will automatically start earning... There is a saying before earning.... Do learning... & 2nd you are not late bro... You r just 24... & Its fine! Always remember You are never late ...
Yup, rightly said, after a certain point, you realise that life is not a sprint, You don't have to compete with everyone else, may it be a senior, junior... When I was 24 I too did not have that understanding but once I realised life feels good, it took me a while to learn this lesson!
I was earning 0 at that point(startup chal rha tha). Now making much more than 0. Form is temp. Skill is permanent. Spend time and effort building your skill. Form will come in time, and earn you the money you need to sustain whatever life you wish to have.
