"Salaries on Grapevine" is useless unless we have a way to verify the data

We already have many platforms which do the same thing but their major problem is wrong/fake data. So one more similar platform is not going to change anything.

It would be revolutionary, if you guys could come up with a way to verify the salaries.

Otherwise it's just adding more noise to the already existing junk data.

Requesting everyone to please suggest ideas for the same.

Labour laws in india isn’t as strong as it is in silicon valley. If you force employees to upload their offer letters on a website somewhere for verification reasons, first, companies will sue the crap out of you and second, users will have plenty privacy concerns.

On grapevine salaries, the user gives something and gets something in return. If you want near accurate insights and comparison, you have to input your accurate salary... which is a good theme i think 🤷🏻‍♂️

Agree with you but think of the bright side If all freshers start asking for 24LPA "as per market standards", maybe companies will actually revise the budget because now thats the industry pay

24 is too far fetched but you get the idea

I'm all in for the bright side, just pushing to make a better product!
