Sad see off
Have you ever felt like a heartbreak when a coworker left or you left some coworker? (them not being your partner or crush)
( I am literally crying as a cowoker will be leaving us in 10 days😭)
I have been there, never got a good fairwell, got laidoff or terminated from my previous jobs for reasons that had nothing to do with my performance. It was a tough Irish goodbye and hiding in a basement and never speaking to my colleagues ever again after that despite some amazing and unforgettable moments spent together at work and after work parties.
It's funny when you think how fragile life is, one day you are singing with them and playing guitar after 5 bottles of beer and 2 joints down, and next evening you never get to see them ever again, no goodbye speeches, no see you later, just pooof in thin air and memories deeply seated in our heart and some in hard drive. Sighhh 😪

Yes 2 times I felt the same. First time when i was leaving and second time when my best office buddy left the company . There is saying out of sight out of mind. So when u r not working together it is difficult to catch up frequently and gossip about work life.
