Sabbatical leave period

Hello I have applied for sabbatical leave and i have provided visa copy and university admission letter. So in admission letter we have course duration i.e. 1year.

Now can i ask my HR to approve 2 years of sabbatical leave(730days)? Kindly answer this question this would help me alot.
