Sabbatical leave
Hi everyone,
I’m planning to pursue my master’s degree in Ireland and intend to leave for Ireland on December 1st, 2024. My course starts on February 3rd, 2025. I need to travel early to apply for various cards and set up a few things in Ireland.
Currently, I have 40 Earned Leaves (ELs). I understand that I need to use all my ELs before applying for Sabbatical leave.
Could anyone guide me on the exact process for applying for Sabbatical leave at TCS? Specifically, I have the following questions:
- Will TCS allow me to use all my ELs starting from December 1st?
- After using my ELs, will my Sabbatical leave commence immediately?
Any confirmation or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
You need to use all your ELs first. Sabbatical leave usually starts after ELs are exhausted. Contact HR for exact steps and approvals. Start early, it's a lengthy process.
