Sabbatical leave
I want to study MBA I wish to use sabbatical leave provided by TCS my question is that after completing MBA and joining back whether my role will be changed into HR and any salary revision will be given or not or I need to continue with the same salary in which I left the company and also after completing the sabbatical leave if I join back to TCS shall I resign immediately or need to serve certain time period.
Also whether they will allow to take sabbatical leaves And can I get sabbatical leave easily or depends on the project dependency ?

I know two of my colleagues who took a sabbatical for an MBA. Both joined back in TCS with higher pay and as business analysts. One of them is in the financial research team. And the other one with talent acquisition.
I am not sure how salary revision works. But they both left at 5 LPA and joined back with around 14 LPA in TCS
But this was pre-COVID.
Lots of changes since then.
If you join back and don't like the revised salary, you can resign.But I think you won't have to serve much of the notice period if your HR agrees.
Salary revision solely depends on the unit bro, I remember one of my team member had a same case. My manager asked me to come up with some strong justification to reject the salary revision for him
