Sabbatical
Hey guys, do anyone here have clear idea about sabbatical??? I will be completing 2 years by May and I'm planning to go abroad. I don't wanna discuss these things prior to my confirmation with my HR and Manager. So if anyone here knows about it, like how many days and the possible increment, please reply here. Thanks
And also what's the possible increment after Mba in India???
Why do you want to take sabbatical when you’re doing for mba? Just leave the job.
Job market ain't quite good now. I can always comeback to TCS during any such unprecedented circumstances. So sabbatical has all the advantages when compared to resignation. Correct me if I'm wrong
The first thing that you got to instil in yourself is confidence. If you are going for a full time MBA, your profile would change, you will have many other options opening up. And anyway you’re going to take 2 years to complete it.
Be bold and take the next step, else it will always be in your mind that I have a backup option and you will never take the plunge.
Also, after your MBA do you really want to come back to the same salary that you left with 2 years back?
