Have you all heard about the mass layoff in Saarthi.ai? I have heard rumours that the company was not able to pay its employees, and many salaries are still on hold. There were also some claims by its CEO involving a stolen passport. Does anyone have clarity on that or any updates? It would be great if you could share your first-hand experience.
Saarthi.ai is a Bangalore-based startup that apparently has laid off many of its employees. It is no secret that due to the recession, many companies are laying off employees. But, there have been various conflicting reports, revolving around the CEO of the company and his former employees regarding Saarthi.ai layoff. Vishwa Nath Jha, is the CEO of Saarthi.ai and he stated that due to “investor’s pressure” the layoffs were decided. Apparently, the company had too much spending than earning profit. Hence to stabilise the finances, laying off employees was the best option. However, many former employees have stated that the company withheld their salaries. Nevertheless, the CEO denied such allegations and in return, filed a defamation case.
