Trending @Cognizant; SA to M – Is There a Standard Promotion Cycle or Just "Chocolate"? 🍫🤔
Completed 41 months as SA and actively seeking the next step to Manager. In March, I was advised to “wait until August” — now that August is near, still no clarity. Just wondering: 🔹 Is there a standard promotion timeline ? Or it will come along with merit increase in August automatically ? 🔹 Or is it one of those “wait-and-hope” in short chocolate?
Would love to hear from others who have gone through this.
After A level, no concept of auto promotion, all promotion will be provided by TMP and promotion eligible SO, this means formally there should be a requirement in system for next level
It's very much a struggling thing, I have shown all the asked things completely, then after a year when I started to discuss for SA to M promotion they are releasing me from the project.
That's the trend I have seen with CTS - they don't have metics that value loyalty or measures to curb this behaviour by management.
My manager literally spent almost 8 years for SA to M.. you need to fight and get nothing else here
