Starting this thread on some possible ways to recession proof your career Here's my PoV

Get education from a tier 1 college in India or abroad- You'll get good network or can go back to teaching in case the industry goes south

Pick a domain that is always in demand - Like healthcare or Finance

Build a strong network that does the job searching for you
Do comment on what tour thoughts are !

Adopt AI instead of getting afraid of it.

Have diverse skillset i.e. mix of soft + hard skills.

Buy some land, in case everything is automated... agriculture will make sure we survive:D
- Have friends who you can rely on if things go south.
