I have 3 days /week RTO model. Since my office is near, I go to office punch in and come back. Then later in the evening, I go and punch out. I haven't got any compliance mail and have been doing this for a while. I am PAT. I have seen other people also doing same including my others friends in the project. Working from room is much easier. So I do this.
Am I in trouble? Please guide. Give practical advice. I know that I am not following rules, so obviously it's not 100 percent ethical. I just want to know that whether I will get in trouble because of this later on.
Don't tell your managers or higher officials you are doing that. If they ask tell you are maintaining hours in the office. They only see swipe details not check any other details.

Even if you are not facing any issues I have a question in my mind for people like you. You guys are going to office. Why wasting your time, efforts and petrol to reach office for the sake of punch ? As you are going to office you shall stay atleast 4 hrs right.
One more thing is there in this issue. To punch you go and come to office. For evening punch you again go and punch back 😅😂 4 times a day you need to go. Whereas if you stay for atleast 4 hrs at Office and you can return back and continue working from home. No one would bother you and you won't be at risk anymore. This needs only to and fro one time. Think about it.
No trouble for now but they can very well track the real time spent in office if they choose to and then you will be in trouble
No issue .You can do this
Please stay atleast 3 hours it will reflect to your true time and rest of time update as work from home
