Trending @Cognizant; RTO Policy & National Holiday this week

Hey guys, we all know that we are asked to come to the office on avg. 3 days in a week with a minimum of 10 hours each day. Firstly, how are you guys coping up with it? Seriously, what the heck is wrong with CTS management?!? They don't have seats to accommodate all employees, lots of disturbance in the common area seats, shitty wi-fi network and so many issues. Secondly, we have 15th August this week, a national holiday of course. So, do we have to come to the office 3 days this week or 2 days as the 15th is off for all the employees? Let's suppose I take a casual/sick leave next week, then do I have to come to the office for 3 days or 2 days next week? Can't locate any HR in this company to have a clarity on above.

My project team has clearly mentioned that we must come to office for 3 days even if you took 2 leaves in that week. But we don't need to stay in office for 10 hours, just 3 to 4 hours is fine for us

Ok, what I understood is that though the email from HR or your home manager says that you guys need to be in the office for a minimum of 9 or 10 hours for 3 days in a week but you guys are doing only 3-4 hours, right?

Not exactly!, we didn't receive any such mails either from HR or from HCM. Just we have to go office for 3 days, this is the only condition from project team

From what i understood from HR- As long as there are 3 working days for you in a week, you are required to be there in office irrespective of your leaves/national or other holidays. But the strictness for timing is dependent on the project/manager.
