RTO Implication on Appraisal
Been working for 5 years in TCS now and I am honestly so done. Just got a call from delivery manager that because my RTO index is not satisfactory, it'll have implications on my 'appraisal'. Like otherwise they were gonna pay very well. BS! I want to switch but now finding difficulty because of, A) gap in competency B) 3 month notice period
Looking for guidance and support here. Any and all suggestions and inputs are welcome.
I have 5 yrs experience in SQL, PLSQL Oracle, Postgres. Have exposure to Tableau, Informatica. Understand Python and Java, but no hands-on.

You have the right skillset. Give interviews for data engineer, Etl developers, data analyst . Note down the questions if you rejected . Don’t feel bad if you are rejected . I was rejected in 20 companies before succeeding.go for sumit mittal’s playlist on youtube on sql and other data technologies

Hmm. I apply to jobs all the time qnd barely get any callbacks. Idk what's missing. I was thinking of even getting some cloud certification, in next 6 months or so.
Your words do seem to give a sense of support though, thank you.

Reason you not getting any interview calls bcoz of 90days notice period. Update your profile reduce it in naukri to 30days than see getting calls or not or another option is like few of us who had to resign without offer just for giving interviews else no call will come choose one of 2 options before its get too late and you again start to get comfortable in tcs

Create a good LinkedIn profile and keep applying to job postings on the platform

This doesn't seem to be that effective for me. I got more calls from Naukri and that too by who found my profile themselves. My application barely got me any calls.

Learn GenerativeAI, Langchain, Python.

Will check these out, thank you.
