RTO Compliance loop holes

They are asking us to be in office for 45hrs and they want 85% of compliance.

  1. 7hrs 39mins per day is enough to meet the compliance
  2. They are tracking it on weekly basis so, 9hrs 39mins on day 1,2,3,4th day 8hrs 39mins and on 5th day you can just be for 1hr! (You will be compliant)
  3. Effective from 1st May(just info from HR. No legal backing for this)
  4. Swipe in the morning and swipe in the evening(this is getting counted as of now, just make sure that you stay in safe zone of 9hrs I.e don’t swipe after 13-14hrs!)
  5. You can swipe at any office.

Let me know if you have any other findings.

It is nowhere mentioned to stay in office for 9 hours. The document mentions that TCS working hour policy is 9 hours. That means you have to be online and do your work for 9 hours. Whether you do it from office or office + home

None of my project members are staying in office for 9 hours. Better get it confirmed from your HR

For now working hours doesn't mean working from the office, let's not mix up things. Policy is about WFO and only a link to working hours is embedded in it.

My supervisor was surprised as my RTO complaint is more than 85% in the list published by HReven though he never sees me in the office( i take u turn from main gate).

Are leaves included in this 85% or 75% or 60% rule??? I mean if we take 15 days leave then will the leaves be part of 85% or tcs will exclude those days and then count percentage present in office??

A leave day is considered as 9hrs at office.

Place your id card 💳 inside your friend's card holder and alternatively you and your friend go to office..this is how WFO attendance could be 50%

Swipe as in what? Am I missing something here? Card Swipe in and out once in morning and once in evening is fine is that what you are saying? Cuz as far as i know and noticed is the laptop swipe in time starts your time and laptop swipe out stops your time. So how do we complete those hours without staying in office? Can someone understand and help.

Laptop swipe is not considered. Swipe in and swipe out is the place where you swipe your id card (to enter the office).

You can swipe your card and enter office in the morning, then do the same in the evening then.. it will consider that you are in office from morning to evening.
