RTO compliance and TCS timesheet

Is there any guideline or policy that says that an employee should be present in office premises for 9 hours then and only then he/she can fill 9 hours in timesheet ?

I have seen people coming for 2-3 hours daily 5 days a week but still they fill 9 hours. So that is accepted or not according to the policy ?

I go for 2 mins and apply 9 hours daily. Enjoy

It all depends on your managers. If they want to track or not. For now most will track just the attendance not hours. Some even till now have not implemented 5 days of office.
