We have been informed to report atleast 3 days a week to office.How serious is Cognizant about this.

Extremely serious! Best to report otherwise Hr India will send you warning letters which clearly states if you don't report it can lead to loss of pay and also termination.

What if you are critical resource to a client project? Will it depends on your manager or the HR to fire you or not?

Irrespective of everything you have to punch your card certain number of days. This is mandatory.

Yeah I got the mail too. Seems like we gotta visit anyhow. I did get the extension since I had a project. Just yesterday I got released from the project and I have been asked to come to the office for 3 days. Just gotta figure out that can it be any 3 days.

Guys dont take it lightly. Please report to office immediately or else they are going to use this as weapon while giving you annual hike in August. I am from HR dept.
