Hello Everyone,
Is it mandatory to follow rotation policy. I have completed 2.6 yrs in my current project and am getting mails to share resume as my profile marked under rotation as per PM.
Kindly share your experiences on this
if your contribution is good in your current project then no need to worry. Under the rotation policy for 1-2 month your manager will change and later it will change to old manager. These senario will happen in the backend but those duration you will be working under the same project. If you are worried about the mails then you can inform your manager
In the mail it is mentioned that the consequences word, if I ignore the mail
Your mgr can retain you for 2 quarters even if you get allocated to some other project. So, its all on depends on your manager
Only insurance against this is to make yourself critical to the project. Manager has option to place some people in critical list.
In my case when i applied for rotation my request was declined by my manager.I guess it depends from manager to manager and how much the current project needs you.
