Trending @Cognizant; Role Update /Promotion?

Im a Jr. Business analyst which is a PA/PA Equavalent Grade Role. Now My home manager initiated a Role Update for me to "Business Analyst". And it is pending approval with governace team. I want to know whether it is only Role change or a promotion!
