Trending @Infosys; Role progression duration
Generally, after joining as a fresher what is the time period required for the role change from senior systems Engineer to tech analyst. Will that progression be triggered by default or our manager needs to initiate it. Or any eligibility criteria needed?

In each role you need to be there for atleast 18 months. After that, manager has to recommend your name to DM for promotion along with proper citation.also, slot also need ti be available for that position in your account.

I got my progression to DSE L1 in March 2024 effective Jan 2024. I cleared the PP exam and also completed PP bridge training in March 2025 and was allocated to the project since March 2025. When can I expect the role change letter? Should I wait for 18 months?
