Hi, I have recently been placed at Capgemini for the position of Analyst (A4). I would like to know more about the domains or work roles typically assigned in this position. Additionally, I want to start preparing in advance to make my training period more productive. What key skills or topics should I focus on to be well-prepared?
I joined Capgemini 6 months ago. You will be trained on one language or technology like java or mainframe and with that you will be trained either something complimenting your previous training or something completely random. They'll train you on java and testing or AWS or react but they can also send you to SAP or designing or Salesforce after java training, completely random selection. Try to upskill yourself as much as you can using the company resources, clear all tests. You will still be on the bench for a long time or it can happen that you are trained in AWS and you'll get a testing and support project. Just study, upskill and network with people.

Haha. No one knows exactly on which domain they will be trained on beforehand and even if the training is given in some domain it's not guaranteed that you are going to get project in that same domain.
