Trending @Infosys; Role change from TA to TL

Any idea on how long this process takes? I got an email maybe in mid march stating that I had been selected for the position of Technology lead. It also stated that ill be released from the current project around may. My manager said that the release wont happen; its just the promotion which is place ( I am really not sure how this works)

Anyway, is there any timeline for this whole process?

what is the effective date mentioned in your step up email? If it is mentioned January then you’ll get arrears probably in this month if you received PnP letter with RC (revised compensation) already.

Can you share the photo of the mail , not sure it is internal promotion mail without manager recommendations or phishing , or did you apply IJP ?
