RMG visit

How to deal or avoid visiting RMG when on bench and serving notice period. It doesn't make any sense to drive 25 km just for attendance (like school).

You must report to RMG daily, even if on bench and serving notice. Not reporting can affect your salary and attendance. Communicate with RMG for any genuine exceptions.

What's the logic of doing this? Can't we not attend the interviews from home and once allocated start reporting to office?
