RMG reporting while serving the notice period
I'm Serving the notice period now and currently on bench. RMG personal is pushing me to report daily and threatening me that if I don't do so they will modify my last working day and have to pay the amount for the days for which I'm not reporting. Do they really have authority for the same? If I ask why do you want me to report, they are stating that this is the process. I asked many other associates about the same and they said RMG personal don't have the authority to do so. Can anyone help me for the same?

RMG can only threat every possible way, but do not uave rights to force they can only just say it. If you take more leaves in notice period then they can change last working day as i know. Do not report daily but weekly 3 days report them show face.
There is a new update in this mesh, I had a connect with rmg on Friday where I asked about early release. The rmg personal stated to send a mail for the same to start the discussion. When I sent her a mail, in the resignation mail trait, rmg replied stating that since I'm not reporting daily, she can't help. The HR was kept in the loop, even she stayed that to give the reason for not reporting to the Rmg daily. I replied stating that I report to the rmg as and when required as there is no odc or seats for bench people. Hr said it's the tcs policy so I have to do that other wise they can't proceed with my resignation. Do HR really have this authority? If yes, don't you think it's the misuse of the power. I really want to get out of tcs now. I'm frustrated with tcs policy and politics going on here.
