RMG not allowing to take my preferred project
I Joined Tcs 1 month Back at C3A . Last week i got released from new project . I gave around 30+internal Interviews for projects. Cleared 20+ of them but waiting for them to confirm as i have location constraints. But RMG is not allowing to join project with my location constraint simply assigning another project telling you are new you can't have constraint. Project is ready to take but RMG is not confirming. What should i do it's only 1 week on bench?

You need to escalate this issue. Talk to HR and your supervisor. Document everything. Sometimes, you have to comply temporarily while seeking better opportunities. Networking within the company can also help.
Even HR head and RMG head won't help, I have been into same situation and no one is going to entertain you.
Just post in knowme . You will receive calls once u get a project you don’t need to inform RMG and all . You are just a head count to them they won’t care as long as you get allocated to a project. Also if you are experienced you don’t have to get scared their job is to scare you into taking something and ruin your career. Just remember For them you are just a candidate for you it’s your career.
Same happened with me as well. RMG was told that not accept any project outside their unit and have to take his/her approval before accepting any project. But due to this constraints I lost 1 good technology project even I have almost onboarded to that project. Later they were started telling that I was in bench for more than 2 months so I need to accept the any project which is present in our unit. Immediately I start sharing my profile with the delivery partners from different units and finally accepted ✌️ the project from a different unit. I haven't informed anyone not even RMG. Now I was in one unit and working to other unit project 😏
Have some patient's brothers contact your hr and then give a reason to RMG that it's all about my career
Same happend with me.. I spoke to head of the person they were assigning me to... told him not to expect me to work as experienced candidate as I don't know anything abut the work u do nd the technology u work on... he agreed then too rmg sent mail to project I wanted to get into saying not to proceed with me as I was tagged to some project but I looped project ppl nd they helped me so u need to keep on trying
You have to work on their allotted one even HR will also revert you the same
