RMG assigned me a project without taking consent.

Hi TCSer,

My release date in my current project is 31 March, I was also getting a call for the project but wasn't able to clear the interview for 3 projects Then my RMG tagged me in a random project.

I am in very tension that how will I get the release from that project as if I go and ask from RMG for release. Maybe they have my data for which I didn't clear the interview.

Please advise.

3 yoe in TCS, faced a similar situation quite often. What happenes:

  1. I make my intentions clear.
  2. rmg asks to resign.
  3. I ask them to terminate me.
  4. they check my Ievolve and see my competency
  5. let me sit for more interviews
  6. I land a project after 10-15 interviews

Journey:

Manual tester-> Sr Data Engineer -> AI.Ops engineer

Have you talked to RMG? I haven't discussed it yet but don't know if they might tell for resignation

I am the same situation , i mailed them to release me because I am not interested ,and then they escalated to me to RMG/high management .... Allocation lookes cancelled but I am still not sure about release 🥲🥲🥲🥲
