Ritesh Agarwal seems a bit fake on Shark Tank. Feel like he acts too nice and simple minded. People who worked at Oyo, is this portrayal accurate?

Or is he just managing his image prior to Oyo IPO?

Ritesh Agarwal, acting 'nice'? Ha! Take it from me, it's a charade for IPO. Bada banao, public ko ullu banayo. How does his 'niceness' translate into Oyo's work culture, eh?

Just image building PR before IPO, look around the SM - you'll find only good things about OYO all of a sudden, even they started hiring (don't know - how much is genuine). Go back to 2020 (before Covid) and in fact 2021 (first half), OYO laid off more than 10-12K employees across departments.

It's like a chota version of the current BYJUs situation at that point of time.

Currently, it's all fake to regain the market trust.
