Post independence, nothing has changed. The only change is due to the technological advancements of the western world, which has been propogated to almost every part of the world. Otherwise, the pathetic governance and lack of accountability has still carried forward.
It has infact become even worse due to rising corruption in every facet of society. The entire indian society is so culturally backward and highly corrupt.
The pathetic governance and lack of accountability has only incentivised the dishonest in this country, making it even more pathetic each passing day. Because of the greed of the society, everyone is now poor. So poor that we don't even have good air, water and food....needless to talk about other resources.
Strong advice to honest indians - LEAVE THIS SHITTY COUNTRY, it is only going to get worse for you.
Advice to the western world - DONT LET MAJORITY SHITTY INDIANS come to your country. It will only destroy the world.

There are two types of people in india:
- They know India is a shitty country
- They haven’t come face to face yet with the enormous corruption and helpless bureaucracy of this shitty country
Most of the people who take the moral high ground and live on patriotism haven’t yet been harassed by the police, gotten their closed ones killed due to crumbling infrastructure, and the list goes on.
95% of India is dirt poor and lives off our tax money. So if anyone talks about accountability, slap the living daylight out of them and then ask them to file a case against you and take the right route of a patriotic indian.

Calling an entire country “shitty” isn’t insight, it’s therapy posted publicly. Going abroad isn’t a moral upgrade either. If you carry resentment, you’ll just export it with a visa.
People who feel majority indians are not shitty need therapy...and some education on civics sense also 😂😂
Can’t disagree with the corruption and stuff but leaving isn’t the answer to all problems. Also thinking that just by leaving the country you won’t face any problems abroad is a big misconception. Depending on the country each one has their own set of problems(especially from an immigrant perspective) and the fact is that the end of the day even if you become a citizen or permanent resident of a developed nation, ethnicity and culture wise you would remain an Indian. The current glow up of china and relatively poor pr/ online racism if indians is kinda the best example. Things that happen back home in India would continue to affect your life and interactions even if you become a citizen of a developed nation. Unless India/ the govt gets its act straight there is not much can be done.

I second it. I used to sing " Saare jahan se accha" before in went on on-site. Now, I have understood what our govt has done to the country. Corruption, lack of civic sense & hygiene, no basic public amenities , destruction of nature....many more.... Saare jahan se acchaaaaaaaa......😭
Those are pretty strong words, but I understand your frustration.
It pains when you do honest work but instead of being incentivized you are penalized more and more.
That's the reality of India, and it's sad. This country has so much potential but the majority of people here live for themselves and don't have any empathy for others.
You are right to leave this country, why does an honest man have to suffer for ungrateful masses who are taking this country to hell with them.
