RFID tag for tracking

Hello All, I am working on a project in which I want to use RFID passive tags for tracking everyday items like keys etc. My plan is to enable my smartphone to get a notification when my RFID reader is not able to receive signal from the antenna. This antenna will trace signal coming from RFID tag which will be attached to keys

I want to get a notification on my phone when I leave the house without taking my keys!!! Is this solution feasible
