Revoking Resignation
Hi All,
Wanted to check if anyone can confirm that just in case if anyone resigns is TCS allowing to revoke resignation? Also what are the terms and conditions for this and post revokimg ? Considering the situation going on now in TCS with layoffs are they still allowing to revoke resignations ?
Yes, depending on your criticality to the project. If you are a critical resource, they will allow revoking and even match offer from another org (most of the times 1 to 2 Lakhs less unless your are super critical ).
There is no TnC post revoking but depending on your team and manager get ready for toxicity and other political drama. Most of them dont take it well. But again if you are super critical they usually swallow their pride and be happy with retaining you.
To answer your last question, yes irrespective of the situation they are allowing revoking. My TL was retained recently and he revoked the resignation just 1.5 to 2 weeks back.
Thanks. But by the time we revoke the resignation they would have brought a replacement resource so then they wont retain for the same project and will need to find new opprtunities on rmg ? Or in such case then do they allow to revoke or not ?
