I had a very disappointing experience with a firm.  I had initially supposed to start with them, but five days before they revoked my offer citing investment issues. My previous firm also was not able to take me in because they already had a replaced me so I’m in a very shitty position. What your thoughts should be my next step apart, apart from obviously, looking for job.
Any one else who had faced similar issues and what are your advice to someone who’s going through this?

There really isn't a good solution. My personal motto is to name, shame and move on. Always keep looking for backup offers even if it is a reputable company because shit happens and there is no way for you to be compensated based on the promise of an offer (atleast as far as I know).
