
Revised salaries
After resigning tcs has accepted to match the offer by 80 percent . But they don't add any money to your basic . Everything is personal allowance or variable pay or retention bonus. Will low basic affect me ?

(Would recommend reading about this in the HR policy Hub) As per my understanding, anything except the basic pay can be reduced/discontinued by TCS whenever they want.
It is only the basic pay that can never be reduced.
Others, Please correct me if I am wrong and do share your views

Bad decision , these scamsters are not going to pay you even 1 percent of that variable pay ,happening like this for past 3 years, are u asleep?

Variable pay is a hoax bait that can be anytime revoked after you take back your resignation
Only thing you should accept is the revised basic pay as per their offer

Basic pay is very low in tcs even for people who have high packages. It's not a problem.
The only thing I will point out is that you will hardly get 1% in next appraisal even if you get A band. If you get wings hike or promotion hike in coming year it may be low.

Does basic at least changed a percent for you ?
