Trending @Infosys; Revised Compensation for JL4( Associate Consultant) promoted via IJP

Normally the increment of salary is 17.5% for Promotion from SSE to TA, But recently many employees received 44%-50%(6.5lpa,6.8lpa) hike on becoming Technology Analyst (JL4). Is there anyone who can tell me the selection criteria!! Does anyone who promoted to Associate Consultant via IJP also got same kind of hike!?

This 40% 50% hike will mostly for Employees who has counter offer and then infosys agrees to promote them with such hike.If every thing is normal they will go with only 17.5% hike.

Why there is so much of hike to IT people why there is no hike in BPM if someone get promoted ...why there is only 3-4 % hike can someone please explain
